Perspective

"It seemed intended by the blessed providence of God that I should be blind all my life, and I thank him for the dispensation. If perfect earthly sight were offered me tomorrow I would not accept it. I might not have sung hymns to the praise of God if I had been distracted by the beautiful and interesting things about me." - Fanny Crosby

Be grateful for the things you do not have, for they may distract you from your Heavenly Father. How's that for contentment?

I have been spending some time between calls reading up on Fanny Crosby. She really is inspiring.

Those old hymns have great meaning - often written from pain.

It will be nice to someday really see. We get so distracted here.
