This hymn has been on my heart over the last few days. Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer!
Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,

Amen! That is one of my favorite hymns. It's nice that is has been on you heart lately. For me it has been "Hold the Fort".
Isn't it nice when we wake up with a hymn on our heart!?
I do not know that one. Great lyrics.
I do love it, and I think its words grow sweeter to me over time.
